MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

The Journal of Clinical Prosthodontics and Implantology (J-CPI) requires all manuscripts to be prepared in accordance with the following guidelines to ensure consistency, scientific quality, and an efficient peer-review process. Authors should submit original, well-structured, and grammatically accurate manuscripts that comply with the journal's formatting requirements.

1. Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise, and professional English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscripts reviewed by a proficient English language editor before submission.

2. File Format

Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.

3. General Formatting

Prepare the manuscript using the following specifications:

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12 pt
  • Line Spacing: Double
  • Page Size: A4
  • Margins: 2.54 cm (1 inch) on all sides
  • Text Alignment: Justified
  • Page Numbering: Consecutive throughout the manuscript

4. Title Page

The title page should be submitted as a separate document and must include:

  • Full title of the manuscript
  • Running title (maximum 50 characters)
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • ORCID iDs (if available)
  • Corresponding author's name, affiliation, email address, and contact number
  • Word count
  • Number of tables and figures

5. Abstract and Keywords

Original Research Articles should include a structured abstract (maximum 250 words) under the following headings:

  • Background
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Review Articles and Case Reports may include an unstructured abstract.

Provide 3–6 keywords immediately after the abstract.

6. Manuscript Organization

Original Research Articles should be organized in the following order:

  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)
  • Funding Statement
  • Conflict of Interest
  • Author Contributions
  • References

7. Figures and Illustrations

  • Figures should be cited in numerical order within the text.
  • Submit high-quality images with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  • Accepted formats include JPEG, TIFF, and PNG.
  • Each figure should be accompanied by a descriptive legend.

8. References

All references must be formatted according to the Vancouver Citation Style. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all references.

9. Ethical Requirements

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with internationally accepted ethical standards. Ethical approval and informed consent statements should be included where applicable.

10. Final Checklist

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript follows the journal's formatting guidelines.
  • The manuscript is original and has not been submitted elsewhere.
  • All authors have approved the final version.
  • Ethical approval and informed consent statements are included where required.
  • Conflict of Interest and Funding Statements are provided.
  • Tables, figures, and references are complete and correctly cited.
  • All required documents have been uploaded with the submission.
